Herne Bay Museum Trust (a local volunteer Trust) has taken over the running of The Herne Bay Museum and Gallery, it has become The Seaside Museum, Herne Bay.
Do come along and see the newly refurbished Museum.
The new Museum is run and staffed by volunteers. If you are interested in discussing volunteering opportunities email: email@example.com
Our latest addition to the Museum is a small exhibition about Amy Johnson, the record breaking aviator. Our current exhibition is 18 Sept - 11 Oct, 'Trouble and Strife' from the Herne & Broomfield Local History Group. This exhibition looks at the troubled years of 1914-1918 when women were fighting for the vote and fought and died for their country in the first World War. Totally fascinating!
